I had a hard time understanding exactly what you were trying to communicate in your post, Trust2009. Something about wondering if a person can give and take with others... the spirit of sin and the spirit of the holy spirit..? What, like passing the turkey around the dinner table?

People mimic eachother all the time, but a relationship with Y-ah-owv-ah is built on his Son's gift of sacrifice on the cross. You can run around for years having accepted Jesus as Lord in your head without quite reaching fulfilment of full repentance. a lot of people do it, and the whole.. organized churchianity system halfway encourages it.

If it's the messages and ideas that keep us swimming between the two different areas of ideaology you mean, then maybe I did get what you meant to say. Yes, the spirit of sin and self-ego is contagious. In some respects, yes, the Holy spirit is contagious, but you can't teach a person by pulpit preaching quite so well as example... Well... Some people are just plain in the right place to recieve preaching, but a lot need teaching! I find it easier to learn from someone working on wood (aka, showing me how what he or she is doing works and how it's done) than teaching behind a desk by reading up from a book. Tweet
