I was on albuteral for many years. They more recently tried me on advair, combivent, and spireva. I have no idea if i went thru withdrawal from them or not...i was so sick that i was nearly dead...couldn't walk 5 steps, couldn't breathe, mind not working, i ca't even describe how bad things were.

I feel so bad for your mom. I know what it is like to not be able to breathe. THe only reason i quit the inhalors was because they were no longer helping me at all...nothing (cause i was so toxic with bromide i believe). I have no doubt that you will find the right path to help your mom even more than you have already done. I will say that although detox is still terrible...i have at least gotten much benefit from taking higher doses daily. When i was on the low doses...there was no benefits at all...just miserable detox . Don't know if that helps at all but I wish you and your mom good luck on this journey.
