Re: still problems after 8 months
Hi Ds,
You are doing so well!
It takes a lot of time to undo the damage done by the
Iodine deficiency and all that is a result of that deficiency. I have been taking
Iodine for a little more than a year now, and I still suffer from mayor detox symptoms. But, like you, I also already enjoy the numerous benefits.
In time, things will kick in again: you will reach a sort of breaking point after which things will suddenly get better faster. For me that was when my body temp got right (a balmy 99.3 F now). The body does work and feel a whole lot different on this temp.
Also, you're having so many symptoms, they are so confusing. But you'll figure them all out and at some point a lot of symptoms will have gone and the remaining ones will be clearer. Ginagirl is brilliant in helping people to unravel these knots.
At the moment almost everything in your body has stopped working efficiently. The fact that you are so tired means that energy production in your body is bad. That is probably because your body is not getting/creating all the nutrients it needs, mainly because your digestion is so poor AND because your temp is too low.
Iodine and companions will, in time, fix this.
You're doing all the right things, your body is getting what it needs to repair itself. You just have to hang in there and be patient (I know: horrible advise!)
Once your adrenals start working better and your thyroid also, you might want to look into Q10, 7-keto, biotin and amino acids like glycine, lysine, carnitine, NAC, glutamine, taurine that are necessary for energy production.
