I've been doing NB for approximately 7 months...

My initial test was $200. I went with a local practitioner at first but then I realized that he really did not know the details and trends of Nutritional Balancing. So I switched to Theresa Vernon.

I've read people say that Rainbows and Butterflies is the cheapest but I've never worked with them so I do not have any comments on that.

I'm not aware of any free consultations but I know I called both practitioners before I sent my hair off because I had questions. They both took the time to explain things to me.

Once I realized that copper was my problem, I knew that Nutritional Balancing was the way to go. I had been trying to manage candida and leaky gut for 2.5 years when I realized that all of my problems seemed to correlate to a copper IUD and an extremely stressful time in my life (stress increases copper/decreases zinc levels).

I originally went with Great Plains Labs for my hair analysis (my insurance paid for it). Great Plains Lab definitely provides a reading on more metal/mineral levels however, they do not help you with the appropriate supplementation, nor do they provide an explanation of your copper levels (hidden, bio-unavailable, toxic, etc), and they do not tell you how your adrenals, liver, thyroid, immune system, digestion, etc are functioning.
