Re: Nutritional Balancing, the good, the bad, and what has worked???

Hi Anatomydoll,

The Good- I have been doing the NB for 9.5 months. I have really experienced tremendous healing in this time. The good is that it is improving my mineral levels and more importantly the mineral ratio's. My energy has improved about 80% since I started and have very little anxiety. Migraines, muscle weakness, appearance, hypoglycemia have all improved. I feel happy, serene, positive and contented. I have a much higher stress tolerance but I still can't excercise the way I would like to. I can walk for 45 minutes but only a few times per week on top of all other life's responsibilities.

The Bad- Now this is just my personal experience and others may not have had the same experience. I really don't think NB will work if a person still has Amalgam fillings, a bad parasite problem, taking toxic drugs or using toxic beauty products, eating a junk food diet or eating foods that cause an allergic reaction. I really think these need to be addressed first. By dealing with all of these this takes a tremendous load off of the liver. Otherwise my opinion is that the program just won't work. I have been in touch with several people who are now doing NB and are still battling a parasite problem. They are just not improving on the program much. Hubby and I have also adhered to a very strong anti parasitic program while doing NB. Fifty years ago everyone did regular deworming but we have lost this practise in first world countries unfortunately.

NB requires lots of cooking from scratch. We don't eat anything in a package. Lots of bone broth, soups, stews, cooked vegetables, grassfed meats, eggs etc. I was told by my consultant that the diet is as important as the supplements. Your NB report will advise you on what you should be eating based on your oxidation rate and carbohydrate tolerance. Paleo works great for us but each must find the optimal diet for themselves. I don't think it is possible to just supplement your way through the program. There has been so much heated debate over diet here that I am not interested in getting involved with this.

The other challenge with NB is that I did not start to feel better until 5.5 months in. I had lots of crazy healing reactions. I would say these have lessened about 90% now. In the early days I had crippling fatigue, more migraines, body pain, bad anxiety, boils, mouth sores, and lots of retracing old traumas both physical and emotional. My body was dumping toxins like crazy. I had to do a daily water enema to help with the detox.

I really hope you get well. I was very moved by your recent posts on attending nursing school. I hope and pray that all of your dreams come true. I am not on here as much anymore because my life has been getting much busier. It really is like a rebirth or coming back from the dead. I have been at this healing business for 4 years so am anxious to really participate in life again. I just turned 50 and feel better than I have in many years.
