Honey Re: Excitotoxicity Re: Warning: Flavoring matters Re: update

I agree, that we can have healthy food for less. I was in experimenting mode for the last few years, which made me spend more than I wish.

I admit, I do not know what is the proportion of free amino-acids in soy sauce, Vega protein, etc. It would be good to find out. I like your idea for hemp plus whey. I am still not 100% sure, but anything related to industrially produced milk products is giving me sinus congestion the next day - sign of non-assimilation and toxicity; same with Immunocal. I heard/read raw organic milk is best, but I have no access to it as of now, to try.

I totally agree with you on honey matters. Inverted "sugar" is one consisting of equal parts glucose and fructose, which are mono-saccharides. They are building element of the white industrial sugar, which is di-saccharide, di=two, (saccharide=carb of various size/length of the molecule). This results in honey requiring less processing by the body to assimilate. The wonderful thing about honey is the complexity of enzymes, amino-acids, poly-phenols, natural Antibiotics and many more substances, that have anti-inflammatory effect. Something not usually known (I know it from my grandfather, a beekeeper, and his books): honey is best to be consumed alone or with water or with herbal infusion, note: water with body temperature; probably apple cider is also good companion for it. All other combinations, result in slowing its absorption, therefore destruction of many components by the stomach acid and significant loss of its healing properties, which also happens if heated. He used to tell "have a spoon of honey first thing in the morning and you will never be sick". In that form a tsp 3 times daily on empty stomach, 1/2 hr before meals if meal is to be consumed, honey heals stomach/duodenal ulcers in matter of 3-4 weeks. Shorter than the duration of Antibiotic treatment for ulcer!
