Re: Follow my 60 day fast online
Hi, Saythisforme,
(good name for a photo-log!)
I am concerned that this concept of a 60 day
Water Fast is, as ChrisB has expressed, one that veers into not-so-healthy territory.
As a plan, it suggests malnourishment, and extreme dieting, rather than
Water Fasting *per se* (as the tried and true fasting literature of old has demonstrated/documented.
But I see that you have reconsidered the timeframe, and are open to honestly seeing how it develops, which is always the suggested approach. I took a look at your site, and the pictures show quite a change, just over ten days. And I can see where you get the idea that you have 60 days in you--I don't mean this to sound sarcastic. Please just be very mindful that when you invite others into your experiment, you have a big obligation to be as responsible as you can be.
That would mean, not encouraging, outright, the widespread sixty day water only approach--which could be, for some people, quite dangerous. The true spirit of water fasting, as it's been passed down through the years, from 'master' to novice, with everyone becoming, in their own right, a 'teacher' in die time, is that which is very much in line with the true (now all but absent!) spirit of medicine.
it's this:
First, do no harm.
Take good care--And good luck with your healing, (and your weight loss, which is secondary, or rather, a natural side-benefit)through water fasting.
