I completely understand. This is one of the benefits this forum offers: to share experience and encouragement and to learn from people who have more knowledge about the topic and who are kind enough to share it.

I’m very glad that I’ve got a ‘green light’ from you because if anything was inherently wrong with my approach it would be discouraging but nevertheless I would like to learn it sooner rather than later.

However, as you know, fasting is sort of desperate measure which most of us try when everything else fails. Very often an alternative doesn’t exist. Being depressed or obese is not comparable to leukemia but those are life threatening diseases as well. Certainly, they make living very hellish experience and therefore most of us are ready to take calculated risks. As scary as it is.

Certainly, I’m very glad that this forum exists and thank you for your input as always.
