Re: Follow my 60 day fast online
#134633,
Good on you for having the courage and conviction to start working yourself back to health through fasting. I fully concur with chrisb1's reply to you and hope that you will take the fast a day at a time and take heed of the great advice about resting and protecting yourself from extremes of temperature whether cold or hot.
As you have successfully fasted up to 21 days before, you know what generally to expect and going 30 days should be a snap for you. As chrisb1 has also indicated, fasting isn't just "not eating." While living off your reserves, your body will be purifying the bloodstream and repairing unhealthy or poor quality tissues so this is not a time for trying to keep up normal activity. Give your body the time and space to heal while the weight comes off and you will benefit doubly so.
While you're at it, take time to work on the non-physical you as well. You've proven before that you can keep the weight off when mentally poised. Take the time to establish your mental poise as a solid rock that is above the knocks in life that sometimes just happen. You know you're worth it but sometimes you have to work to make sure that your subconscience knows it too.
Well done on establishing your blog.
