I could not have said it better. I'm glad y'all don't think I'm a lunatic over this. You are exactly right. I have been trying to follow the rabbit down into his rabbit hole and I keep getting lost. Our White Rabbit is VERY good at hiding his rabbit hole.

As far as I can see, all roads from Iodine deficiency lead to increased DRUG SALES.
* Hypothyroid caused by Iodine deficiency = Sell Synthroid
* Breast Cancer caused by Fibrocystic Breasts= Sell Chemo
* Fibrocystic Breasts = Sell Pain Killers + Mammograms
* Fibromyalgia caused by Hypothyroid = Sell Pain Killers
* PCOS & Cysts = Sell more Pain Killers
* Endometriosis = Sell ever more Pain Killers
* Depression from Iodine deficiency=Sell Depression Meds

So I think that all the evidence points to Big Pharma as being at the other end of the Rabbit Hole.If everyone in the USA were suddenly iodine sufficient, just imagine how many $Hundreds of Billions in revenue would be lost from just chemo drugs, Hypo drugs,& painkiller drugs. Just imagine - no more FBD, PCOS, ENDO & related Cancers, would save $Hundreds of Billions in medical expenses. These are major reasons for Big Pharma to STIFLE the iodine movement. Not just stifle it, but use the FDA to KILL it by making iodine prescription only. Dr. Brownstein has expressed this fear at his Blog. But the Social Security Administration would certainly have a huge vested interest in seeing most of the baby boomers die off before SS goes bankrupt. What does iodine deficiency do to our immune system? It destroys our ability to fight off virus & germs. We need to be fully iodine sufficient for our nose & lungs to kill off virus, germs via Apoptosis (Derry). THEY could be setting us up for a future flu pandemic like 1918 to sweep through the older population with the desired results of saving Social Security & the USA from bankruptcy. One of our neighbors's immune system is soooo weak that if someone just visits her, she gets sick with a cold or the runs.
