Re: New sufferer

Yea, as always. :)

You mean summer of 2010, right?

I just got an email from my dermatologist, which said that their Candida test was negative, BUT: I had taken Nystatin mouth suspension for about a week prior to that test.. and today she got a report from my dentist. My dentist cut off a crusty part prior to Nystatin and sent it to some lab. It seems to have had a pretty high Candida "colonization"... so I will see one of my two general practitioners tomorrow morning to talk about what could be done. My derm suggested just a antifungal pill ("Fluconazol") for 7-10 days.. Also, what I just really noticed today.. ever since my EC started I had some kind of "lump in my throat" (does that make sense?).. I think while using the Nystatin, it did almost go away and just started yesterday or today (I haven't used the suspension for about 2 days)... Might be another indication for Candida, but noone has looked into my throat yet.

I'm not sure about it (as always). If I do have a Candida overgrowth (which might have caused my EC.. but I still think chapstick and other stuff like that at least took its part..), does taking one pill without any Candida diet and meds to get rid of heavy metal etc. work?

Any ideas? Man, this is so complicated..
