Re: New sufferer

Hello, again :)

I will try to be patient. The only Problem (besides all the others, of course) is, that I don't even know for sure that leaving them alone for such a long time will eventually let the lips heal... but I guess I will have to tell myself that and be hopeful.

I'm going to see another dermatologists today. Also, saw a general p ractitioner today. She and her husband (internal specialist) said they would first prescribe an Antibiotic to apply on the lips, as it could really be some kind of bacterial infection that's spreading... I said that I want to be as cautious as possible and thatI don't know if that would be the right way to go... they understood. Also she said, that we/I should think about removing the dead skin, as it is a perfect environment for bacteria to proliferate... I don't know.

Right now, I think the affected areas are still getting bigger, which I'm afraid of... it hasn't yet affected my whole bottom lip, but it kind of looks like it could still spread... oh well..

How much of your lips were affected at their worst? How big were the crust/flakes at that time?
