Re: Food For Thought
Thank you very much for your advice and for sharing your wisdom with me. It is tempting to just say, ''yay! I'm healed!'' and to embark on a life of indulgence.
I won't do that. Thanks for the warning. I think I will celebrate my good health and work towards my continual healing and maintaining the health I have achieved. Little treats for me now are salads with greek dressing (I can finally eat the salad dressing they put on!), yogurt...and the occasional wheat item. A nibble of toast, a handful of berries..feta cheese on my salad..hehe.. love salads..etcetera.
I haven't been adventurous enough to indulge on a hotdog, let alone pizza! I will do these things very sparingly. And thank goodness I don't care/crave for alcohol anyways, or soft drinks.
See that's the bizarre thing, I NEVER ever ate bad my whole life. Literally. Never craved sweets intensely, and had very nutritious parents who forced me to take non-wheat home baked goods, fruits and vegetables for lunches.
So I've always been healthy, and I guess I will always be that way.
Thanks again for your insight. Best of luck to you with your healing this time. You did it once, you can do it again! After all, candida is natural and exists in everyone. It's not necessarily our enemy, we just have to put it in line.
