Re: Food For Thought

Thanks James. I seem to be in your position. Again, as soon as I go back on old foods, old symptoms seem to creep up again. The instant lignering itch is there, ready to pounce! I will just have to really start changing up my foods, which will be challengign as I thought I was already eating a wide variety of vegetabls, meats and grains. I don't really know what else there is to try EXCEPT for everything I have had to avoid for the past few years. Maybe this is what I need to do? Take a break from the strict diet for awhile? But be smart about it? (Aka no cakes, soft drinks, ridiculous things).

I am also starting intensive probiotics, the ones recommended in the book ''listen to your gut'' by jini patel. My brother has his own digestive challenges he is healing with the probiotics they recommend and I truly believe that the one strand I have started for the past month (I am about to add another few) is powerful and working. I truly hope that by implementing all of them, I will be able to finally have the intense flora needed to combat the candida once and for all. These probiotics are supposed to be candida resistant. In the book that comes with the kit, the regime to follow is smart and well laid out. The book also addresses candida and how it can be the underlying root cause of the health ailments it looks at like IBS and Chrons.

I'll keep you all posted.
