Food For Thought

Hi everyone:)

I wrote recently about how amazing it was to (after roughly two year of an intense candida detox, candida diet etc), I was able to indulge on all 'nonos' without any repercussions. (These included alcohol, ice cream, wheat, and even some chocolate sauce.. fruit.. etc). Well.. now I am wondering what the deal is!

You see, I have realized that when I am on my candida diet (which I decided I would remain devoted to, unless I am out at some fancy occasion and would like to treat myself), that my bm are barely formed, and I have to go several times during the day. My skin also breaks out.

HOWEVER, when I treat myself to something on the nono list, I.. I have tested this three times now.. I magically feel amazing, no longer have any candida ailments, and my skin clears up/I feel the best I've felt in years!

I'm thinking that perhaps I may have been doing too much detoxing and didn't realize it? And that my body grew allergic to the strict candida diet and now that it has been given other foods it can digest them properly and is loving them because it was deprived of a lot of nutrients while I was on the strict diet?

What are your thoughts? Just putting this out there because had I not been forced to eat ''nono'' foods one night, I would still be running around in circles, feeling tired, having jock itch, struggling with acne.. things that all magically disappear when I eat other food. The best part? I have the healthiest stools in the morning that I have EVER seen. But this is only when I stray and eat wheat/or last nights restaurant mashed potatoes smothered in gravey.

I am really surprised by this. But it is a pleasant surprise. I think I need to start eating more foods. I just started eating yogurt again (plain-kefir) and feel even more amazing!

Just had to share. I think maybe sometimes we end up starving ourselves of the nutrients our body's need.

Just some food for thought. If you have an opinion, I'd love to hear it!
