I havent tried the biglycinate; but I suppose it is magnesium chelated with glycine.
I would not go for the oxide; it is cheap because the raw material is cheap cheap. I never got my levels up even if I took loads of it.
What is important IMO with magnesium is that it is soluble (test the tablet/capsule in water)
-that it is as little additives as possible/ coating and such. dicalcium phospate for instance is a typical addition to tablets that inhibits the uptake.
My favorites are Magnesium malate and citrate. Glycine is a calming amino acid which I take in the form of gelatine; so I guess the product is ok.
But you say 1000 mg; that is probably the weight of the amino acid, binders and fillers + the magnesium.
Check the ingredients; thats where you find out what the exact magnesium contents are.
