If your body is poor at removing toxins, then it's quite possible that one filling may be enough to cause your problems. You may have had other, less obvious, exposure as well.
I would definitely find out about the systematic ways to chelate. It's really not something which should be done in half measures.
Cilantro by itself is not a very effective chelator. It kicks the mercury loose, but doesn't remove it.
I'm currently using cilantro and chlorella in combination to remove mercury. It has helped me, but the side effects can be difficult. The cilantro doses need to be spaced out to avoid redistribution while the chlorella is taken a half hour before eating. It's a good idea to take breaks from chelating for a few days to give your body a chance to recover. I would take chlorella for a day or so after you finish with a round of cilantro. I find I have fewer redistribution symptoms that way.
Other people prefer the Cutler Protocol (frequent dose DMSA/ALA or ALA by itself). Others like DMPS. I suggest a bit of research to find out more about them if you want to give them a try.
The fact that you only had one filling should make it much easier for you to chelate. I had 12.
