Re: hello everyone.
Thank you Mighty,
My constitution reminds of Sheltons account of Sylvester Graham (one of the early NH pioneers) who himself had a enfeebled constitution and died at the age of only 57.
Critics at the time had said that the system of healthcare he advocated was of no use and worthless otherwise he would have lived to a much older age. However,
Shelton reminded us that Graham lived to be that age because of NH and not in spite of it, otherwise his demise would have occurred much sooner than it did.
I too have a weakened physical constitution, but the mind plays tricks sometimes and I believe that I am no different to anyone else. This recent episode of ill-health is a timely reminder that without NH I would have died years ago, and with what a well-known NH Doctor confronted me with by saying: "Christopher, you are not a carthorse but a mere racehorse".
Nature didn't see fit to endow me with the constitution of a bull, so if I break the laws of life, as so many do and get away with it for decades, and for any length of time, I suffer the consequences.
Really I should know better, but the cause outweighed any personal care, and this is how
Shelton came to such an untimely end at the age of 90. !!!!
I will not make the same mistake more than twice.
