but he knows full well the dangers of taking fq Antibiotics . I have even showed him youtube videos of people that have had bad reactions but as usual he doesnt think it can happen to him . he has gone through all of this not really caring what they gave him as long as he gets well and since he is doing fine with it then he sees no reason to quit it and try something else ( SIGH !! ) you cant make someone do something they dont wanna do for sure so I just shut up n let him take his own route on this one . since he only has 3 days left of taking em I doubt very seriously I will be able to change his mind now .

they gave him lovinox (blood thinner) shots while in the hospital too to prevent blood clots while bedbound

and the nexium 40 mg that he swears he cant live without even though I have told him the consequences of taking it especially long term .. but he would rather take it than change his diet n lose weight so that he no longer needs it

they changed the way his wound is dressed now ..using a petroleum (don't like that idea ) gauze strip on it then dry dressing on top and then tape .. it is filling up from the bottom up and the wet packing is no longer required . said everything looked good and that he was healing up just fine .

he is still not smoking right now and obviously not drinking so that is good ..they told him it would take longer to heal if he smoked so he has been really good at not doing that ..but did buy him some nicotine lozenges the other day at the drug store for $35 ..bad idea but once again he bought em so what can I do .has yet to use them though..he is saving those for when he goes back to work .

its not my fault he is choosing to do it this way though ..the old saying goes " you can lead a horse to water but ya can't make him drink " is still true

since his mom has taken em and said Cipro is good."take what they give you son ". and my dad is saying " oh yeah thats a good Antibiotic ..that will knock out that infection in no time son " " I have taken cipro many times son " well whats a wife to do with influences like that ?

all I can say is thank God he is getting better !
