What do you need from me? Re: need advice for hubby please

Anne,

I know at times like this, our brain is easily frazzles & 'thinks' don't always get 'thunk through' on the normal channels. So here's a recap:

--The doc/s apparently already know the name of the offending bacteria, so get it from them asap. Write it down and get it to me.

--"They" have made mistakes that not only likely caused the infection (no Antibiotics initially); no topical Antibiotic ointment/cream; one person telling you he needed IV Antibiotics , then another sending you elsewhere; then the wrong Antibiotic for the bacteria, etc. You should write down absolutely everything you remember, and get the rest from his chart in the hospital (if you don't get the data from the chart while he's inpatient, you'll have to pay to get a copy of the chart). Get ALL data from everyplace he's been while it's still easy to get.

--Contact a lawyer that handles medical issues. It's very possible that when this is over and the hospital is contacted by an atty pointing out their mistakes, they'll wipe off the bill (or a percentage) and willingly give y'all 2-5 times the medical bills for 'pain & suffering', lost wages, expenses, etc.

--Let me know what he is willing to do when he gets home and I'll give you the best information I can.

--What would you like from me as far as information and/or suggestions at this point?

Blessings,

Uny
