sorry I didnt see this earlier ( my internet has been down all weekend )

he got out friday n home health has followed up daily for dressing changes . I had to change it myself yesterday just to show the nurse that I could ..insurance will only pay for 10 visits but they are talking about only coming 1 more time anyways so I dunno

they wouldnt tell me the bacteria when I asked .only said that cipro would take care of it .so I will have to get his chart when I go back up there . his appointment is thursday of this week at the trauma center which is just a couple of buildings away

they didnt know what kind of bacteria it was till the culture came back hence why they thought clyndomicin would cover it so I guess they were hoping that that would work ..not sure

he says he will do anything I ask/tell him but that remains to be seen ..I know he wants to get better so he can go back to work ..the way it looks right now it could take another 2-4 wks before that happens

I will talk with him again about the med lawsuit and see what he says ..he kinda shrugged it off when I mentioned it before . guess its up to him really whether we go forward on that . but I will still get all the info I can for future reference if nothing else .

I know the doc that did his surgery while there and a couple of the nurses ( first name only) but most all that info should be in his records right ? I am curious to find out what kind of bacteria he had anyways as that could give a clue to where it came from .

my lovely mother in law has been a blessing through all this ..she is helping us pay our bills right now n without her we wouldnt be making it

I will be working as many hours/days as I can to help

also found out that my older half brother (55) must have cancer or something major going on ..seen where my niece posted on facebook where he is gonna have a lung and kidney removed after chemo and my heart just sank when I read it ..ugh ! I have got to get a hold of her and see what is going on ..havent seen him in over a year .
