Re: I stopped chelating for a few days and this is what happened
When I first started chelating, I used the cilantro(coriander) and chlorella method. It made me feel bad while doing it, but 6 months of doing it made me feel a lot better.
I decided to switch to DMSA/ALA in the Cutler Protocol because it has fewer side effects. It seemed slower but doing it helped me feel better. Recently though it seems like I hit a plateau of using it, and it doesn't feel like it's having so much effect anymore.
I would like to try DMPS, but it's not available here. I read about a doctor who cleared a patient's mercury trouble with cilantro, and remembered my own success with it. I decided to give it another try.
I've been using it for about 2 weeks now (I took a break for a few days in there), and I can say that the side effects are still there (redistribution is pretty bad, so I'm using it for longer periods of time), but I can feel it working more than DMSA/ALA. Mainly, I can feel more of the phantom mosquito bites. I think I'll keep going for a while and see how things develop. I may switch back to Cutler in the future, depending on how I feel.
