Re: I stopped chelating for a few days and this is what happened
Typically people who use inappropriate protocols and dose randomly with ALA feel better for awhile then get serious neurological problems due to the infrequent dosing.
Take ALA every 3 hours, or not at all. You also must take breaks. The most one round should go is 2 weeks or so and that means dosing every 3 hours, including nights, for that entire time. Most people don't last more than 3-4 days per round. 3 days is the minimum.
I do hope you stop taking ALA randomly like that and don't continue forcing mercury into your brain and organs.
Also, you can't use ALA if you have had exposure to mercury within the last 3 months. If you do, the net movement of mercury is into your brain, not out. If you open the blood brain barrier and have more mercury in your blood what happens is the mercury travels from your blood into your brain, not from your brain into your blood. Thus you get terribly sick and have more problems than before due to more mercury in the brain.
