Re: Feeling hopeless, desperate for advice.
Feo pretty much wrote the message I would have.
Some things to add:
* all this is pretty common for a group of us here. You're not alone. And you can (and will) get better.
* when you are in anxiety mode, your body moves blood from the center to the extremities. That means you don't digest food.
* the magneisum issue feo mentioned can be solved by baths. Get some cheap
Epsom Salt bath mix from your local pharmacy...have a bath with it before bed. It'll help.
* get a serotonin booster like 5-htp to have before bed. Again, you can get a cheap one at pharmacy but don't get the cheapest. You may need an antidepressant but that'll take time to start.
* don't feel guilty about staying in and resting a lot. your body needs to heal.
* we all had different reasons for this starting, likely it wasn't a few drugs that did it to you. they just were a peak stress experience.
* You are smart to start now, rather than 3 years later. It won't happen overnight, but once some things get better then more get better quicker and quicker.
* if you can afford it get to a GOOD local naturopath that knows something about Adrenal Fatigue/Adrenal Burnout.
