I take Lugols iodine. See if you can get an rx from your doctor for the pharmacy to mix it up for you..it's iodine, potassium Iodine and water. Yes, you'd need to take LOTS of kelp tablets.

Mary Shamon DOESN'T KNOW DIDDLY about Iodine nor does she make the effort to even read about the latest research from Drs Brownstein, Abrahams or Flechas. She is very much derided on Janie's Natural Thyroid Hormone yahoo group. Mary is the source of much dis-information. I would ignore what iodine-phobics have to say about mega dosing Iodine (anything above 250mcg) and only pay attention to THE IODINE RESEARCHERS (Brownstein, Abrahams and Flechas). These doctors have been studying iodine for almost 20 years and use it on their patients. THEY KNOW HOW MUCH WE NEED IT.
