'Depends...Re: Garlic and -itises
...upon the actual reason for the symptoms of gastritis & colitis, and garlic is good for gingivitis.
Most all gastritis & colitis type issues are caused by an underlying pathogen (or blockage and resulting 'lack of flow')...inflammation & swelling are the result. Garlic is the strongest "anti" (bacteria, virus, fungal, parasite) on the planet (stronger and more effective than most pharmaceuticals even). Due to the high inulin content, it's beneficial for intestinal microbiota.
Do we enjoy feeling it heal an inflammed area? Not usually. Will it work better than most other options? If there's a pathogen, usually.
'Best course of action with gastritis & colitis issues - before doing anything else aggressive, ENSURE ADEQUATE DOWNWARD FLOW...in every area of every thing from the mouth to the anus. If the main tubing is crimped, compacted, impacted, congested and clogged in any area, the downward flow is compromised and becomes a hotbed for pathogens...and the area of compromise (or the area above it) starts showing symptoms.
IF#1/IF#2 plus echinacea to support the immune system.
Stagnancy = disease; Flow = health. Clean out the main tubing and let our bodies natural fluids and waste flow naturally and correctly...and it's simply amazing the symptoms that will resolve themselves.
If there's lingering symptoms, the cause will be much more clear and easy to discern. Then one can be aggressive with garlic or other options. There's nothing "aggressive" about unclogging organs...although there is a lot of 'aggressive stupidity' running around these days (lol), like flushing a liver into a congested colon. Or chelating/detoxing tissues while the liver & kidneys are compromised.
I had colitis/IBS (up to 7-8 hot/liquid/urgent bms daily, accompanied by severe GERD, etc). One 15 day cleanse and it was all gone :)
Gastritis? If the tube is blocked or crimped or congested near the bottom (and gas is constantly pushing upward), then the flow at the top of the tube is lessened and compromised. Just think about food mixed with stomach acid staying in the stomach an hour or two longer than it should...symptoms of gastritis? Oh yeah. Imagine how acidic that slurry is when it finally flows into the duodenum...especially if the alkaline bile is in short supply to neutralize it. Yowzah-ouch.
:::grin::: you only thought you could ask a simple question and get a simple answer! lol
It's all about the flow, baby :)
