Re: Angry, angry, angry
I am sorry SOL(so Long). I take that back it was an inappropriate term. I just don't if Alcohol Induced Fatty Liver Disease can be reversed. Medical
Science says it cannot, but then Medical
Science has been wrong about a lot of things. I am sure that there are likely natural remedies to treat Alcohol induced Fatty Liver, but I don't know what they are. Perhaps, others on this forum have this and are successfully dealing with it. Hopefully, they can respond.
As for the garlic for high cholestorol, my dad only used fresh garlic. He did not believe in supplements. I take a garlic supplement as I cannot imagine walking around smelling of garlic. I also use a little garlic in cooking. I read that as little as 4 fresh cloves of garlic per day is sufficient to have the desired effects, so you may not need to go overboard like my father did. When I did "lots" of fresh garlic in the same manner as my father, it would smell like garlic when I would sweat, fart, or even when I took a shit. My job involves constant contact with people, so there is no way, I can do what my dad did as I cannot walk around smelling of garlic. WalMart carries triple strength garlic caplets made by Swiss Natural Sources(a reputable brand name). It sells for somethng like $11 for a bottle of 100 caplets. This gets around the odour problem and likely would give you the same benefit(s) as consuming lots of garlic. My only warning would be that you don't rely too much on any supplement(s) to cure all your ails, but instead make it part of a holistic approach that consists of daily exercise and eating right.
Best Wishes.
