The dosage seems far to low for your condition; 50 mg (not ug) and up is what we recommend here. Not much happened to me until I upped to 60 mg daily.
As long as you keep the companions high too, you should be safe.

You will find the Lugols; check the Iodine map wombat posted below; there are a couple of other Aussies here, maybe you could ask them.
