I was found to have B12 deficiency in 1986

After many years of on and off again vegan eating, I was found to have B12 deficiency in 1986, and I took B12 shots once a month for several years, which seemed to help me gain some needed weight. I do believe I'm one of them that needs *some* animal protein, probably a little with breakfast each day would be wise for me. I could probably go months on vegan way of eating but I have a hunch that would not be wise for this body.

I'm really not sure if I should eat animal proteins once a day, once every other day, or just once a week. I tend to think every other day should be the minimum for me.
