good thread DQ... thanks for posting.

This isn't the only former vegan I have run across that found their health failing... began to eat some animal based foods and regained their health in short order.

There is NO need for people to suffer, nor should people have to order or purchase foods from half a country or globe away in order to maintain sufficient variety to be somewhat lucid and healthy.

A *healthy vegan* must do both unless they are blessed to live in a year round garden climate... or have a green thumb and dedicate their lives to farming... hard to do if one has to work for a living, and\or lives in an apartment complex somewhere.

That *dependence* upon the food shipping infrastructure may not last forever.
