Re: Panic attack and hypoglycemic at dentist office... help!

I don't know if I agree or disagree that a way of thinking can be hardwired into your brain. There are two ways you can go with this.

1. Excessive norepinephrine signaling that causes anxiety is due to impaired energy from impaired thyroid and cortisol production and metabolism. This is what I think is most likely the case for ongoing anxiety, an unresolution of hormones.

2. Behaviorally, someone has to teach their mind to not get as "psyched up" for something. An example is meeting someone you don't know. When someone has impaired energy because of thyroid and cortisol problems, then meeting someone causes excessive norepinephrine signaling because that is what takes over when a person tells their body to produce energy. Thus when psychologically calling on energy for a situation, one's body feels anxious. To ameliorate this (with a healed body) the person would have to put themselves into a situation and "relearn" what it is like to have sufficient energy for normal social interaction.

Actually, I have been a bit of a suspect for #2. I am feeling a bit better and still get a bit anxious to talk to people. I shouldn't feel this way because my brain fog isn't as bad, so I need to behaviorally change the way I think so my body doesn't get aggravated.
