also, if they're going to give you novacaine for any reason make sure it doesn't have any additives that can fuel anxiety/panic. I have the same problem when I go to the dentist & I requested the novacaine that didn't have any potential to increase anxiety. Epinephrine or something like that is added to many/most novacaine shots these days.
