A lot of the issue with ongoing anxiety, especially after AF when a good portion of the physical symptoms are gone, is that the anxiety had previously been a survival skill (or the body at least thought it was, hence AF), so it's hardwired into your brain and amygdala (fight vs. flight) portion.

What about cognitive behavior therapy (cbt)?
