Re: #46511's Reply To Uny

I didn't mean to imply that natural sauna therapy was "bad"...it just has to be used wisely (there was a huge news things last year about folks that died in a sweat lodge).

And now that the planet (hence it's inhabitants) are so laden with poisons with clogged & compromised organs/systems of elimination, 'force melting poisons' from our tissues and into our bloodstream for detoxification and elimination is something some people must be very VERY wise about utilizing safely & effectively. Keeping hydrated *used* to be the only major concern - now I can see vast possibilities for all kinds of problems.

Our bodies are SO smart - they know when they can't neutralize and eliminate the toxins/poisons in our bloodstream adequately (organs/systems too congested, too high of an exposure, or a combination of both...not to mention lack of adequate nutrition/fuel to fund the process), and so the poisons are deposited in our tissues and bones. People get some kind of an analysis, see their "x,y,z levels" are too high and then jump into harsh detoxification and chelation protocols without addressing the cause of the problem or their organs/systems of elimination. MDs/NDs...it's all the same. Both (typically) just run the tests, prescribe the drug/supplement, grab the money and wait until the person returns with the next symptom/syndrome. I know I'm "preaching to the choir", but I just am SO frustrated by folks turning away from allopathic medicine only to be scammed and made worse by "alternative medicine" that I have to let it out! :o) Most folks are so dumbed down (and/or fluoridated)...or so maniacally egoic...they just can't seem to see or find the truth :(

Yep, hot/cold is fantastic (Dr. Christopher/Schulzes "Cold Sheet Treatment" is awesome). I've only done it once, but it was a fantastic experience. Maybe this winter I'll do it with a "snowdrift finish" instead of that icy-cold sheet (that becomes tepid after a few minutes). That'd be GREAT!!!

Meet ya in the snowbanks!?! :)
