They say it's a good source of Iron, and I was a little concerned about this because in 1990 I got too much high tech iron into my cells and I can still feel that. I had a phlebotomy to remove 600cc of blood 11 months ago, and it lowered my SF from 220 to about 150. I was told to get my SF to 50 or below, and I'd supposedly feel a lot better.
According to this, 5 grams of Cayenne has about 5% of the RDA of Iron.
