Re: Are there any other explanations why the liver flush works?
Posts from 'expert/s' who try to play down the therapeutic effects of the flush, will not in any way detract from the benefits (obvious to those who have performed successful flushes), despite repeated attempts at undermining the process using reductionistic anatomical formulae.
I don't need to smash my thumb with a hammer to know it is going to hurt and cause damage.
What people who support "liver flushes" have not figured out yet is that feeling better does not mean something is working or beneficial. Cancer patients can feel better from chemotherapy as it knocks back the cancer. Does this make it safe? No. Does this mean it is beneficial? No. Can it cause other problems? Yes.
These flushes are not expelling large gallstones as is being claimed. This has been proven over and over. They can cause a real stone to lodge in the bile ducts though, which can lead to pancreatitis and will require emergency surgery.
And if the person does have real gallstones these flushes WILL NOT address the base causes. So putting yourself at risk just to feel better temporarily is as ludicrous as taking cocaine to make yourself feel better. Either way you may feel better while putting your health at risk.
