Re: Tipping Point

Nice bit of butt covering by the predictors, but I don't buy it. Events such as natural disasters have been happening on a regular basis since forever, nothing new here, we just know about it more now, because there are very few unpopulated areas on this planet, and we have global communications.

Humans have been paving the way for their own destruction for millennia, and always seem shocked when things start going wrong, what do people expect when they pollute the planet, destroy the environment, engineer an economic collapse because of poor fiscal policy, allow and encourage corporations to run the show, when they only have self interest at heart, and could care less about the people they are milking etc etc.

The reason I do not trust predictions is that they are vague, never specific, and the story changes as soon as the predictions fail to eventuate.

I keep a file on all failed predictions from the last 15 years, and its pretty thick now.
