Yesterday. ;-) But the MSM is really talking about the national debt and how bad it is. I think they're getting us ready for what's coming.
They were saying tonight that 55% of what the government spends is for social security, medicare and medicaid. 44% is discrestional spending and another 1 or 2% is for earmarks.
So what do they want to cut? Social security, medicare and medicaid, which are the very things that will get them fired. They totally refuse to cut their own spending even if it gets them fired. They're like drunks that refuse to quite even if it kills them.
Another bit of information is if we paid $1 per second on the national debt, it would take 425,000 years to pay it off.
Oh yeah and the government has only balanced the books 4 years out of 50 or something like that. That would get ANYBODY fired a long time ago.
Anyway, back to the tipping point. It's coming and even the MSM is advertizing the fact now in my opinion.
