Re: Attempt to rationalize-Help me in preparing my medial appointment.

Etienne, I hope this works for you.

1-How long does it take to get better?

It took 6 1/2 Weeks to finish this protocol. It involved 4 baths, once a week for the first four weeks with Epsom Salts baths on other days. I got a massive die off after the first bath, but total clearance didn't come until toward the end of the protocol.

2- What is "food grade" hydrogen peroxide. Do any peroxyde hydrogen does the trick? How much do you put in you bath.

You should use Food grade. It's much stronger than ordinary H202. It's 35% vs 3% so you need to be careful with it.  It can be used internally, but I never experimented with that. It seemed dangerous to me.

You're supposed to use 4 oz for a bath, but I used 8 oz as my bath is somewhat large, and I tend to do more than the recommended dose ;-P. It can be purchased at most supplement stores.

3- What kind of systemic antifungal did you take and for how long?

I took Lufenuron for 45 days plus rotating herbals (Oregano Oil, Undecylenic, Goldenseal, Garlic etc. I also took Candex.) You could take the Lufenuron with other RX Antifungals as it doesn't harm the liver.

4- How long before bathing I must chew garlic?

Chew the garlic while you're in the bath. That way the pores open and become exposed to the H202. Chewing the garlic is painful, so just do what's comfortable. My baths were about 45 minutes, and I chewed a lot of garlic.

5- And the most important question: what kind of antifungal powder did you use and where did bought it.

I used both Lotrimin and Desenex, nothing fancy. They both worked. I got them at the pharmacy.

6- For how long did you have this problem. Did it was difficult for you to wear pants? How did you manage that problem and be able to go to work? My skin burning is so intense 15 minutes or so after I put my pants on. I don't know what to do for my job for which wearing dark pants is mandatory.

I had a bad case for around three months, and a mild case before that for at least another 3 months. Yes, it made wearing pants uncomfortable.  It was very itchy, hot feeling, red and sort of raw, and extended toward my rectum.  I didn't wear underwear for a long time and spent a lot of time nude.

It's going to be tough, but hopefully the discomfort will be less after the first bath. I also found ice packs soothing.

7- Finally: Just to be sure we have the same issue: Would you say that wearing pants wouldn't only worsen your red scrotum condition but would also worsen your systemic candida symptoms at the same time. For me the worsening of my red scrotum is absolutely correlated with other systemic symptoms (like eyes tearing or anxiety)

Both were consistently bad. I didn't notice a correlation at the time and didn't relapse afterward, so I never made that connection. I definitely believe it could be a source of relapse for you though. Survivors in the skin could easily spark a new outbreak. I think this protocol is worth a try and I really hope it works for you. I feel like you're due a break. I know you've been working at this for a while.

T.
