Re: Attempt to rationalize-Help me in preparing my medial appointment.

I think the fact that wearing pants flares you indicates that it's surviving in your skin. Candida skin infection could be what's keeping your immunity compromised.

This suggests to me that your Antifungals are not sufficiently reaching your skin. In the skin, it can exist in your pores in a very resistant biofilm. It survives best in warm areas like the crotch, rectal area, and scalp. The prostate can be involved as well, but is more susceptible to Antifungals.

This explains a lot actually and your struggle is starting to make sense to me. I went through something very similar. My approach was to go after it aggressively systemically and topically.

This also explains why you would be sensitive to smoking which depresses cell-mediated immunity and gives your liver more toxins to deal with. The alchohol would cause some immune suppression but mainly just feeds it, more or less depending on the type. The plane keeps you cramped and warm for long periods and would just aggravate a skin/crotch infection.

I left some ideas that worked for me in your thread below. The food grade H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) baths with ingested raw garlic were especially effective. After the baths, antifungal powder seems to work much better. It took a while, but once I got it out of my skin, my immunity began to change and the systemic antifungals began to work better.
