Re: I rest my case...
Grz, would you please clarify this paragraph.
"BTW - Most bands I know, including my son's two, do some form of alternative tuning... drop tuning half step or more, for instance, so this may not be the issue that some are making it out to be. Historically, this was also common among many different musicians\bands of the past, not to mention different musical genres, Hawaiian, Blue grass, jazz, etc. all have different tuning variances, and then there are tuning variances within the genre itself... so there may be much more to the tuning issue than just the Rockefellers... and it likely doesn't matter much given the extremely broad scope of music."
I did not quite follow all of your point on this, especially connecting something like (for instance) the alt tuning popularity of Hawaiian slack guitar ...... to the Rockefellers? You lost me on this connection. What on earth do the two have to do with each other?....please do tell more.... and I also cannot imagine how this then connects to the previous bulk of the debate up to this point, which after two passes through I do believe I do get and whether I did or didn't I have have enjoyed greatly!
Thanks.
