Re: we are doctors. trust us.
I understand what you are saying, and where you are coming from... I do not think that you understand my point of view though.
For instance... back in the 1860's or so when they decided to use coal tar as a source for fertilizers, and then later, medicines and nutritional supplements, I do not think that they had any idea what the he!! they were doing... they were just looking for a *profitable* way to deal with the waste... and the agrichem, medicopharma, and supplement, industries that emerged from this, as some of the largest industries on this planet resulted.
Then we have things like man using livestock confinement methods and feeding them human and farm, distilling, and processed food waste since before the 1820's or so that has degraded and profoundly changed animal product food sources that compound the issue(s).
They (industry insiders) know what all of these toxins do to us now, however they are committed... but who would stand up, representing any said contributing company, and admit it all and accept not only the liability, but also risk the fall of an industry that is one of the largest global employers and a cornerstone of global economy?
These things, in and of themselves, can, and do, mutate microflora, proteins, fats, carbohydrates, and foster the creation of virus among other things...
So while it IS true that man is GMing microflora and virus making matters worse and compounding the issue, it was inevitable.
BTW, once *they* started messing with coal tar, fluoride, and mercury contamination\poisoning of this planet was a given... not to mention the issues with sulfur and nitrogen pollution and acid rains... and lead... and... petroleum, which was rising in use around the same time, compounded the issue.
The early industry did a good job of hiding the concerns and issues (media was not very fast in those days - and most people did not have access to the media), while promoting the use of their waste derived *health* and environmental enhancing products.
That is just a *few* examples...
So in MY view... it is primarily (not entirely) a huge cluster fvck by industries and governments always covering up and primarily protecting their @sses and industry from liabilities.
As another example, the very same thing has happened in the genetic industries because they started messing with things BEFORE they fully understood them and their repercussions... now it is a full on misinformation campaign to primarily protect their industry assets and limit liability... even though they *now* (perhaps not fully) realize the hazards and dangers.
As the tobacco industry did... etc.
In other words, as humans so often do, and some Darwin award winners have been crowned... they jumped before the looked for fully understood the consequences of their actions.
In most cases, at least initially... They *know not what they do*. Then it is too late when the money, profit, and power, trumps all other things.
