As I have been stating... in many (perhaps most) cases it wasn't initially on purpose...

and in many of those same cases, it *now* is... for any number of reasons, including the saving of the industry and the limiting of liability, which I believe is the majority of remaining cases, if not the intentional propagation of *evil* intent.

Although one could argue that the protection of any business action that causes harm, once that harm is realized, could be seen as intentional, evil, and conspiratorial. ex: Tobacco industry...

And why I believe the vast majority of it is primarily a cluster fvck, of which we all play our unwitting parts as consumers.
