Inspired by god, interesting, so the bible is not the word of god to be taken literally, but is just inspired by god, like an artist is inspired by a sunset, or landscape. This leaves it open to interpretation by everyone, not something I would want to base my life on, but each to his own.

Inspired by god, (imaginary being), sounds like spin to me, another way to try and justify the immoral acts that the men who wrote the bible, advocate.
