We have to have a benchmark for all data. We are debating the Bible. If you say it is not of God or foolishness, then sadly I have lean on the the prior verse that was posted in the beginning of this response.

As for BBQ, the dietary laws were for the Jews (Physical Israel).
I am, as my father, and my fathers father, a gentile. I am not held to those laws. (Really no one is anymore as they were fulfilled in Christ). So with that I am trying to keep the BBQ sauce of my mac from these ribs I am eating.
