Doing a search on many of these "christian" posters and you will see reams of examples of hatred placed on top a mythical god.

They blame an outside force for what looks deep within their own consciousness. In other words they are projecting a pattern and blaming a "god" symbol. That way they can live with themselves, barely.

I think you have said you have a degree in psychology?
Then you must see this pattern as well. it is kind of like how therapists will use a teddy bear to get a child to open up. The child will project their inner patterns onto the teddy bear.

We same the same kind of thing going on here.
