Something unusual that happens...

...You wake up all set to make today better than yesterday.

I'm not sure how it happens. Every week I am a little more recovered from my stroke (July 15th, 2009).

There were times that I didn't know I wouldn't be stuck in exactly the same spot for decades to come. That felt terrible!



It helped to hear that there are some things we will never know about a rescued dog, for example. We weren't there and the animal can't tell us.

But an animal has the gift of living in the 'now'.

Distract them from the same old way of reacting, and make good things happen today and they become happier. The only thing required is calmness...the calmness shows in their body language, everyone who is near them and calm, can feel it.


You are doing well, to write your post like that. Carry on, my friend. You'll get there.

In your mind's eye picture yourself surrounded by things and people you really love. It doesn't cost any more.

In every city there are dozens of warm basement rooms where you could offer, say, a senior citizen, assistance, for part, or all, of the rental. But be choosy about the senior. Wait for proof that they have represented themselves honestly.

Some seniors are pretty cagey.
