Re: Our Australian Elections shows Aussies want the Greens to play a big part in a sustainable environmental future.

I was a green voter for one election so I do have sympathies that way... however, apart from the obvious far left positioning of the greens on social issues, I am very concerned about the way Adam Bandt, member for Melbourne, got up at his "victory speech" and talked about "compassion, gay rights, and asylum seekers" before he talked about trees (or did he even mention trees??).

If he wants to prioritise compassion, gay rights and asylum seekers then maybe he should not use Greens to progress those other issues and nor should Bob Brown.

More broadly, this has become a problem for the Labor as well as for the Democrats in the USA.... you see, the socialists and communists know they can't win votes in their own right so they infiltrate other "compassionate" parties and draw support that way as they would never win govt in their own right. Its sabotage and people need to wake up.
