I think some honeys act as direct antifungals, thats why they use honey as antifungal cream in hospitals, also it could help by reducing bad bacteria aswell, i think the way it helps fungus most of all is probably hydrogen peroxide levels are increased killing off pathogens.

i understand some maybe skeptical as honey seems to feed fungus, but as one user said in earlier post, all food turns into glucose somehow after we eat it. so we will produce food for candida no matter what we do.
maybe candida isnt the only problem , maybe theres alot of bad bacteria making candida stronger.
too me it doesnt matter im sure honey will help any kind of stomach illness , i hope if others are patient enough they will reap the benefits, i know exactly how it feels to try medicines and herbs and diets and end up relapsing later on, & losing thousands of $'s on dr's and naturopaths
honey is a simple cheap way, worth some investigation
