Re: Denial
I am sorry Zoe, that is a very big deal.
Although there isn't much my duaghter can do to help, she's aware of what is going on, and she's calling to check on me.
She hasn't followed the ins and outs of it, but she has a degree in chemestry, and she is now a corporate lawyer, and she didn't see how they would ever stop the spill, because the plans they had wouldn't work. I haven't gone into the cover up and all the deception, but I have told her doesn't surprise her at all.
I think my sister would help me with publicity, if I could find anyone with a severe illness in a position to speak out, but no luck there.
All the anger in this forum is nothing compared to what you get talking about this outside of curezone.
Our long time student is furious with us, and has painted us as anti semetic- & shot her mouth off, the upshot is our shop is fine, and we are getting hovered over and patronized by the local neo nazis.
Go figure.
People just don't want to hear this.
Unless they do, it can't be dealt with, or mitigated, or stopped.
Even the illnesses won't be treated correctly.
It must be very scary for you to have people that you love down here who have no clue.
Even if the are stuck here, or they choose to stay, if they know what is going on the have some chance of fixing the health problems.
You've done a great deal with the forum, it's a contraversial subject no matter where it's presented, and the information you've dug out is going to save peoples lives.
So thank you, I'm not sure I'd be as committed to getting out without the things posted here. It's validated my own observations, and I have much less doubt about the right course of action.

& you are right, this will all get covered up. They will have a few reports of things like cancer clusters, and the effects of black tide, and the disappearing coral.
And they will oover the whole thing up.
Or they will paint anyone speaking out as crazy.
